I love this place. Food was great and service was excellent. The Dumplings were so good (home made)

Located in the 4370 Strip Mall Business Center on the East Side of Federal Highway between a Massage Spa and Astrology Business. Bamboo is a Cute Little Asian Bistro that is Clean with Nice Touches of Decor following the Bamboo Theme!
The Parking Lot is Shared between the Neighboring Businesses but we have never had problems finding a spot. Dine-In, Take-Out, and Delivery are Available. A Very Small 2 Table 2 Person Patio Seating is Offered.
On both Occasions we have Dined-In in the Front of the Restaurant with Natural Light coming through the Large Front Windows. The Interior is a Good Size with Sushi Bar Seating and Table Seating. The Staff is Pleasant and Accommodating when you first arrive but a bit Distracted and Non-Existent after the Welcome and Ordering.
We have been on 2 Different Occasions Being 2 Years Apart from each other. Our Orderings were Completely Different from Visit to Visit.
Being:
1st Visit- Lobster Cantonese as a Lunch Special with Vegetable Fried Rice with Pork Wonton Soup. Along with the Lunch Special of Sushi/ Sashimi/ Sunomono with Hot & Sour Soup as a Two Person Lunch. The Lobster Cantonese was Extra Saucy with Broken Up Pieces of Lobster alongside Broccoli. Both of the Dishes were not Fresh but Presented Well. As far as the Rice and Soups the only Plus was the Pork Wonton Soup, well out of the Whole Visit..
2nd Visit- We went a Completely Different Ordering Route with..
-Complementary Wonton Strips: Stale and Broken/ Served with Hot Mustard & Sweet-Sour Sauce. The Hot Mustard is Packet-Quality at best.
-Sea Salt Edamame: Properly Steamed and Lightly Salted!
-Crab Rangoons: Oh My.. Oh My.. RAW White Onion GaLoRe. We should Re-Name these to Cream Cheese-White Onion Bites.. Hard to Consume when Anticipating the Norm "Crab Rangoons".
-General Tso's Chicken Served with White Rice: Ordered Extra Crispy & Extra Spicy... Lost in Translation.. Neither of the Above but still contained Good Flavor with Extra White Meat! Although the White Rice was Undercooked and Grain-Stiffed.
-Eel & Wahoo Sashimi: Being "Out Of" Uni & Mackerel, Choices are Limited in the Sashimi Department. Eel & Wahoo it is. The Eel was Hatefully Mean and the Wahoo was Definitely Not Fresh.
-Salmon Skin Hand Roll: Do Not Order-- The Salmon Skin was Crisp to an Inedible State along with the Unexciting White Rice Distaste. Highly Disappointing
Overall, on both Visits to Bamboo we have been Unimpressed by the Food. Much More the Second Visit than the First. As States Earlier Once your Ordering is Complete the Food Comes then No Service is Provided. On our last Visit we had to wait for over 15 mins for our Server to come Clear our Plates and Get the Check. This was with a Complete 2 Tables Dining in the Entire Restaurant. -

11/18/18- again had to have the shrimp dumplings there so so good.
10/12/18- ordered for first time the Peking dumpling steamed very tastey plus the steamed chicken dumplings kinda watery, like if dropped in water not in steame
6/20/18- love they have some dim sum , i dont have to drive out to 441/St Rd 7 . I had a cup of miso , large bowl plenty of tofu and greens. ,had to have their steamed shrimp dumplings ,plus Shu mai pork nice large pieces . Love it. Owner/server very sweet.
11/10/17 went for lunch @ 12:30pm the place was empty. Not even employee. Until I said Hello then someone cane around .
Foods good but I had the beef and snow peas and mushrooms which I asked to leave out. I ordered the wonton soup ( xtra ) and a salad came with it , I asked for no tomato allergic. It came with the tomato plus I asked for water no lemon she asked if I wanted ice I saidYes came with No ice warm . food again is good but my soup came and my salad and my entree all at once soup got cold plus it's not right to bring all food st once. Unless you get puppu platter. One girl she apologize very rushed to eat. Didn't ask for bill I was still chewing but it came.
29/17- just had delivery . I really like their shrimp steamed dumplings and Shumai is so very good. So I was afraid with deliver but they were as good if we were at the restaurants. They do charge a $2.00 delivery fee. Food was as expectedly yummy -

Great vegetarian dish " Buddha's Delights " served with brown rice . Best stir fried fresh veggies I had from an asian restaurant. highly recommended for vegetarian people . Also shrimp Dumplings is one of my favorite appetizers. I will definitely come back.

Ordered delivery for lunch(Uber eats app).
Shrimp with lobster sauce and Shrimp with teriyaki sauce. Shocked about the both platters. It was a lot of white rice and about some shrimps with a sauce splashed on it. No vegetables, no option to select stirr-fried.
Came with egg rolls. Which had pork in it and i dont eat that. Was not mentioned when ordering. Very bad experience for us. Would recommend to skip this one and find a real alternative.
